I'm a musician and guitar teacher living and working in NYC since 1998. I've been fortunate to learn directly from legends of the music. I attended the New School Jazz Program, and worked for Rodney Jones production company New Tide Music, working on recordings for Blue Note, High Note, and 18th and Vine. Over the years I've spent time with and learned from the musicians that made the music I've studied: Dr. Lonnie Smith, Brian Charette, Lonnie Plaxico, Carl Allan, Eric Harland, Maceo Parker, as well as jazz guitar legends Rodney Jones, Pat Metheny, and George Benson.

Jazz is a deep, challenging and rewarding study. I've found a path via the music of John Coltrane, Rodney Jones, Grant Green, McCoy Tyner, Nathan Page, and other influences that has brought a deeper meaning to my daily life and guitar playing. Over the past year, I've made a series of 6 albums. Tracking 4 original jazz albums and a blues duo record during 2011.
