I'm making 6 records in 12 months. Incarnate is the introduction, the first of 6.

It features jazz guitar legend, Rodney Jones, Vibraphonist Tim Collins, Drummer McClenty Hunter and Bassist Aaron James. Produced by Dave Parnell of Runaway Dorothy.

Tracks one and two feature a sound that I've used in personal contemplation over the years. I used Tibetan Singing Bowls to to write the first track, entitled "Introduction" as well as used the bowls and an ambient rhythm guitar to open up the sound of the title track "Incarnate."

"Premonition" is a nod to the lineage of jazz I feel most directly connected to. Doug Carn's  album Revelation and the music of John Coltrane are a steady influence on my writing and I hear a world of meaning in the way they play their music.

Incarnate, Premonition and Re: Incarnate feature Tim Collins stellar vibes work.

"Greens, Blues" was a head I wrote years ago with another hero, Grant Green in mind. Rodney is featured on this track as well as on "Alone Together". I couldn't say enough good things about Rodney and his playing. One of my all time favorites, his album "The X Field" was given to me by my jazz guitar teacher when I lived in Salem, VA. He told me I should go to New York, and find Rodney Jones. I did.

Enjoy the music! Record 2/6, "Approach" is an organ trio featuring Brian Charette and McClenty Hunter. The next release, 3/6 will be in early 2012, a quartet recording featuring 7 new compositions with Brian, Evan Pazner on Drums and Rob Woodcock on Bass.
